This jug is from England in the mid-1800's I believe. It has a pewter lid and raised glass precious stone like detail around its rim. It has no cracks or chips apart from the age related crazing that you can see. It really is a gorgeous piece and measures 18.5 cms high. It has a pottery mark on the base that looks like it says "Bilton".
